Description:

Sushi Go! is an fast-playing card game for 2 till 5 players. The goal is to grab the best combination of sushi dishes to score points. The game is like a 7 Wonders Lite and it's easier to play then Coup.

The game is played over 3 rounds and each round, the players receive a number (7-10) of cards. Because the cards are shuffled, each round will be different.

Then the players simultaneously select one card and place it face down on the table. The remaining cards are then passed to their neighbor and the selected cards are revealed.

This continues until all cards are played and then everyone scores the cards based on what they chose to collect. Choosing the right cards is the key in Sushi Go.

There are different card types likes:

  • Sushi Rolls: The player with the most points of sushi rolls gain 6 points, the 2nd get 3 points.

  • Tempura: A set of 2 gives 5 points.

  • Sashimi: A set of 3 is worth 10 points.

  • Dumplings: Collections score also more points.

  • Nigri: score 1-3 points.

  • Wasabi: triples the value of the next nigiri card.

  • Chopsticks: let you play two cards on the next turn.

  • Pudding: The player with the most puddings gain 6 points, the loser loses 6 points.

The player with the most points after the last round is the winner of the game.

The game rules are very easy to learn and the game play is very quickly. An average game takes around 15 minutes.

To win Sushi Go, you need a little luck and it depends on the player interaction. It's possible to hurt other players when you take a card that the next player really needs.

The game is more fun when it's played by five players and there are alternative rules for 2 players.

Sushi Go was originally published by Adventureland Games after a successful crowdfunding campaign.
